Show Up On Your Terms: Your Offline Presence and Inner Process is Crucial to Entrepreneurship
I have just been allowing myself to live my life. It hasn’t been intentional, but it was actually somewhat of a forced break. I had a lot of stuff going on with my family with the holidays, and my two-year-old nephew is a lot of fun energy. There has been a lot going on. I have also been hanging out with someone who I have reconnected with and that has felt really good. It’s been so refreshing to live my life offline, and not be on Instagram so obsessively. I think especially for us entrepreneurs and creatives it can be really easy to get sucked in and feel pressure to always be connected, posting, and producing.

Presence.
I noticed how much I am changing. I noticed how much I am growing and how when we are completely tuned in and logged on to social media we are not necessarily present for all of those little, small, tiny, but impactful and powerful shifts. And when we don’t allow ourselves that time to really sit down, reflect, go inward, we are missing a crucial part of the creative process. We are missing a vital space that allows us to breathe and expand and grow into the person that our work needs us to be.
